Moto Z actually announced 2 variants of Moto Z this time namely: Moto Z and Moto Z force.Moto’s Z and Z force have got a lot of buzz as of now being a unique modular phone. The buzz was turned down as soon as the priced of the extra modules revealed, they come at a hefty price addition to the phone which is also not in an affordable segment, of course, that’s a flagship. Later, few days after to the event, one of the leak suggested that Moto has another Midrange device coming to sets of the semi-modular smartphone by Motorola. The phone was rumored to be named as the vertex. And moto also announced that Moto X series are not dead, and yes officially. So this benchmark result might be the rumored midrange Moto Vertex aka Moto Z Play or Moto X. It’s more likely to be Moto X 2016 in my opinion because it has a little more offerings that what’s moto’s regular midrange has to give. So without waiting anymore, let’s get into the what’s under the pack of the rumored smartphone.
As per the listing on the benchmark site ‘GFXbench” the phone comes with a 4.6inch Full HD display, which might not be 4.6-inch, most of the time GFXbench get’s the screen size wrong. The rumored phone comes with an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6755 processor clocked at 2.1GHz underneath, which is also commonly known as MediaTek Helio P10 and coupled with an ARM Mali-T860 GPU for gaming. Considering the storage and memory part, the phone comes with 3 gigabytes of RAM with 32 Gigabytes of storage which is a usual combination for a midrange smartphone. While taking a note on camera, it comes with a 16-megapixel rear facing autofocus camera with a 4K video support and a 8 megapixel of front facing camera which can record up to full HD (1080p). The surprising part is the phone comes with a pedometer used mainly for fitness tracking. Additionally, this comes with these usual sensors like Accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity etc….
We don’t predict the phone to launch anytime soon, as the Moto Z launched about a week back. The phone must be a midrange Moto Z Play in my opinion because moto hasn’t released a midrange smartphone in Moto X series till now. Moto has kept it’s standard high in the competition of smartphones. So let’s sit back and decide what’s Lenovo’s Moto gonna launch soon.
